Yinheng Li

Yinheng Li is an applied scientist in Microsoft’s Applied Sciences Group (ASG).

Yinheng received his master-of-science degree in data science from Columbia University, and his bachelor-of-science degree in financial mathematics from Baruch College, CUNY.

Before joining ASG, Yinheng was an applied scientist on the A.I. Architecture and Strategy team in Microsoft Research.  Before Microsoft, he worked as a data scientist at Vanguard for two years.

Yinheng has worked with large-language models, semantic search, and various other natural-language processing domains.  He has broad interests ranging from reinforcement learning to recommendation systems.
