Carl Ringler
Service Engineer (Alum)
Carl Ringler likes that his work gives him the opportunity to work with “some very creative minds” in helping to bringing their ideas to reality.
He came to Microsoft in 2003 after two decades in the avionics manufacturing industry, where he gained significant experience in the design and assembly of a variety of products. Since coming to Microsoft, he has supplemented that experience by working with surface-mount components on circuit boards.
Carl graduated from the University of Illinois Institute of Aviation, then moved to Lawrence, Kan., where he spent 16 years designing, building and testing avionics test equipment.
In his spare time he brews beer, tends his vegetable garden, and ride bicycles, both on- and off-road.
