Nima Mohajerin is a senior machine-learning researcher in Microsoft’s Applied Sciences Group (ASG), which he joined in October, 2019.

Before that he was a research scientist with Huawei Canada, where he applied and created various RNN architectures for multi-step prediction of dynamic systems in the self-driving cars domain.  His main area of expertise is in ML for time-series prediction and modelling dynamic systems.

Nima holds a Ph.D. from the University of Waterloo (robotics and A.I., Canada, 2017), an M.Sc. in computer science from Örebro University (robotics and A.I., Sweden, 2011), an M.Eng. in control from Amirkabir University (Iran, 2007), and a B.Sc. in electrical engineering from Shahid Beheshti University (Iran, 2003).
