Nathan Luquetta-Fish
Director of New Interface User Experience
Nathan is the director of user experience and design for innovative user interfaces in Microsoft’s Applied Sciences Group (ASG). He draws on a variety of interaction modes (touch, voice, vision, and more) to explore and craft ways for people to engage and do more with the devices they love.
He and his team help pull together experiences that find the balance in unmet user needs with cutting-edge technology in hardware, software, and services, including cloud capabilities across Microsoft 365. His work encompasses touch, gesture, pen, vision, and voice, with a goal of fusing all of this into delightful and highly usable experiences that unlock the ability for people to do more.
Nathan has been involved in technology since 1998 from shipping such products as Windows (98, CE, Mobile), Lync, Skype, and Office to incubating new form factors and experiences that would become Surface Hub and Whiteboard. He has a huge passion in experiences for remote collaboration and ways A.I. and natural user interfaces (NUI) can make people more productive.
Outside of work you’ll likely find him with an iced coffee exploring San Francisco and the surrounding area.
