Michal Staša

Michal Staša is a senior software engineer in the Applied Sciences Group (ASG) spearheading security and compliance initiatives across the ASG and Design + Research teams in the Windows and Devices organization since 2024.

Before joining ASG, he served as a security lead and cloud software engineer for Dynamics 365 for Marketing starting in 2017.  Before Microsoft, he worked as a full-stack engineer working on a variety of projects aimed at optimizing business workflows.

Michal holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Charles University in the Czech Republic, where he specialized in artificial intelligence within the context of computer games.

Outside of work, Michal shapes the waves of electronic music and spins records as a d.j., experiments with culinary and beverage fusions, and battles other human beings in various physical and digital arenas.
