Jared Gohr

Jared is a senior software engineer in the Microsoft’s Applied Sciences Group (ASG) who is working on novel software experiences.

Before joining ASG, Jared worked on building telemetry graphs and a real-time event platform for the Windows Engineering System.  He then moved on to architecting cloud services for various mixed reality resources including Azure Spatial Anchors, Azure Object Anchors and Azure Remote Rendering.

Jared graduated from Missouri University of Science and Technology with a bachelor’s degree in computer science.

Jared lives in Seattle with his wife and two children.  He enjoys cycling, film and music criticism, and the Seattle craft beer scene, and he enjoys playing guitar at small, local venues with his indie rock band.
