Gunner Stone

Gunner Stone is a senior applied scientist in the Applied Sciences Group (ASG) at Micrsoft, where he works on screen understanding.

Gunner earned his Ph.D. in computer science and engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno, where he built expertise in deep learning, synthetic data generation, large-scale model training, and 3-D perception.

Outside of work, Gunner enjoys spending time with his chinchillas, Chompy and Wumpus, and walking his dog, Zoboomafoo.
