Christina Burger
Senior Software Engineer

Christina Burger is a senior software developer in the Applied Sciences Group (ASG) at Micosoft.
She started her career as a software engineer after completing her master's degree in computer science. Since then she has worked in large companies making mobile games, to small startups in the human resources and artificial intelligence space. Christina is passionate about building quality software, and aims to be a positive role model for other women considering this career. In 2024, she co-created The 418 Zine, a zine for people on the edges of the tech world.
She lives in Toronto with her husband and two cats, in a perfectly imperfect (a.k.a. needs work) 100-year-old house. When away from work, Christina likes to paint, sew and crochet, and she's pretty passionate about drywalling. If she leaves her house, she prefers to do so on the 507 streetcar and/or using one of her vintage bikes. Yes, there's more than one—and no, she won't say how many!
