Bahman Khanloo is a machine-learning lead and manager in the Applied Sciences Group (ASG) at Microsoft whose line of work is centered on core machine learning and machine-learning applications that enable next-generation user experiences in an R&D incubation setting. 

Before joining ASG, he was applying machine learning in areas such as computer vision, natural language processing, speech processing, and computational sustainability. 

Bahman graduated with an M.Sc. degree in computer science from Simon Fraser University where he worked at the Vision and Media Lab (VML) focussing on applications of machine learning in image and video processing; specifically recognition problems in computer vision.
