Andrej Lojdl joined the Applied Sciences Group (ASG) in Belgrade where he focuses on GPU implementation and AI-driven user experiences.
Before joining ASG, Andrej spent over seven years at Continental / Aumovio, where he held a variety of roles including embedded developer, scrum master, and test manager. His interest in the intersection of hardware and software was sparked early in his career as a Google Summer of Code participant, where he developed a TeX rendering engine for GNU Octave. Andrej is also a co-founder of the PFE Science and Engineering Center and previously served as the head of the Applied Physics and Electronics department at Petnica Science Center, where he mentored students in robotics and machine learning.
Andrej holds a M.Sc. in electrical and computer engineering from the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad. His academic and professional background is defined by a consistent focus on low-level systems and engineering education.
In his free time, Andrej is a devoted family man who enjoys spending time with his wife and son. He remains passionate about the engineering community in Serbia and enjoys designing educational programs for the next generation of engineers.
