Albert Ng

Albert Ng is a 2011 research intern in the Applied Sciences Group (ASG) at Microsoft.  He is developing an ultra-low-latency touch interface and studying the effects of latency on the user’s performance of various tasks.

He is a Ph.D. candidate in electrical engineering at Stanford University, pursuing research in Computer Architecture under Dr. William Dally. He received his bachelor’s in E.E. at the California Institute of Technology, with a background in embedded systems and digital design.  He has done research in protein structure prediction, asynchronous VLSI, and is now interested in HCI and high-performance computing.

In his spare time Albert can always be seen playing Ultimate Frisbee.
